Cookie Policy

Team Leaderboard uses very few cookies, and none of them are for advertising. There are no third-party ad networks, no tracking pixels and no cross-site tracking anywhere on this site or in the app. That is also why you do not see a cookie banner — there is nothing optional to consent to.
What we actually store
Your session cookie. When you sign in, we set a cookie that identifies your session so the app knows it is you on your next request. Without it you would be signed out on every page load. It is set only for teamleaderboard.com, marked HttpOnly and Secure so scripts cannot read it and it only travels over HTTPS, and SameSite so it is not sent from other sites. It expires when your session ends or when you sign out.
Your active team. If you belong to more than one team, we remember which one you were last looking at so the app opens where you left off.
Theme and preferences. Your light or dark mode choice, and a few small interface preferences such as which leaderboard view you last used, are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and we never see them.
Security checks. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which sets a short-lived token to confirm you are not a bot. It does not profile you or follow you around the web.
What we do not do
- No advertising cookies
- No cross-site or cross-device tracking
- No selling or sharing of browsing data
- No analytics scripts of any kind
Turning them off
You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie you will not be able to stay signed in to Team Leaderboard, because the app has no other way to recognise you. Clearing local storage simply resets your theme and view preferences to their defaults.
Changes
If we start using anything beyond what is listed here, we will update this page first, and we will ask for your consent if the law requires it.
